Switzerland
Baume & Mercier traces to 1830, when brothers Louis-Victor and Célestin Baume founded a watchmaking workshop in the Swiss Jura. Paul Mercier joined as a business partner in 1918, giving the house its current name. It has been part of the Richemont Group since 1988 and is known for classically elegant, accessibly priced watches such as the Clifton and Riviera lines.
