Chopard was founded in 1860 in Sonvilier, Switzerland by Louis-Ulysse Chopard. It has been owned by the Scheufele family since 1963, who expanded it into high jewelry and luxury watchmaking, including the in-house L.U.C collection and its long-running role as official timekeeper of the Mille Miglia.
