Nomos Glashütte

Nomos Glashütte was founded in 1990, just after German reunification, by Roland Schwertner, who wanted to revive watchmaking in Glashütte outside the former state-owned GUB combine. The brand is known for clean, Bauhaus-influenced design and for building its own in-house movements, including the hand-wound DUW 3001 and automatic calibers with proprietary escapements.
